This blog is about our rehabilitating a mid-century modest home, on a limited budget but with a goal of having a house that is simple but adequate for our needs and economical to live in. One of our aims is to use as much used/recycled/re-purposed material as possible, and only absolutely necessary new materials.
Having re-purposed a hay barn into a guest house, I would like to encourage you. It can be done, and the rewards of a job well done makes it worthwhile. There were times when it all seemed impossible.I can't wait to see your work progress. www.blackstoneridge.com
I will say this it is nice to see a home with 50's Pink tile in the bathroom again! I took all of mine out and redid the entire thing and let me tell you it is not the most enjoyable project there is but lets face it you spend quite a bit of time in there so you might as well like it!
It looks like you do have your work cut out for you but it is going to be a beautiful home when your done with it.
I wonder why it didn't post the other pictures?
ReplyDeleteWow. You have your work cut out for you! Can't wait to see how it all turns out!
